Troubleshoot Live Streaming

Android Devices

Please be sure you know how to install an app and have any needed app store passwords BEFORE deleting an application from your device.

  • Restart your phone
  • Clear Cache and Data for your phone apps
    • Go to settings
    • Go to storage
    • Go to internal storage
    • Go to cached data
    • Hit “Ok” to clear cached data for the phone apps
  • Uninstall and Install your youtube app on the phone or tablet
  • Turn off and on your mobile data connection
    • Go to Settings on your phone
    • Select cellular
    • Move the toggler to the right and then to the left to turn on and off
  • Check if you have the latest Youtube app and Android versions installed on your phone

iPhone and Ipads

Please be sure you know how to install an app and have any needed app store passwords BEFORE deleting an application from your device.

  • Restart the YouTube app.
  • Restart your device.
  • Uninstall and reinstall the YouTube app.
    • In removing the app, press and hold the app icon until the “x” mark shows up
    • Then hit the “x” only for the “Youtube” app
    • To reinstall, go to the app store and search for the “Youtube” app and then hit the download button

Windows PCs / Firefox and Google Chrome Browsers

  • Make sure you are connected to the internet by opening a browser and typing www.google.com  in the URL. If you do not see the google search bar, that means you are probably not connected to the internet. You can also validate if you are connected to the internet by taking the steps shown below
    • Check if you see the Wi-Fi icon on the right side bottom of the screen
    • if you do not see the Wi-Fi icon open the Windows Action Center by typing “Action Center in the search bar (search option – bottom left corner of your screen)
    • Click “Home”
    • Select “Network & Internet.”
    • Select   “Wi-Fi” from the left navigation bar.
    • Make sure the Wi-Fi toggle is “ON.”
    • If the window does not show” Connected, secured,” select the wireless connection that belongs to your house and hit “Connect.”
  • Clear browser cache and cookies by hitting Ctrl + Shift + Delete (Chrome and Firefox)
    • Hit the “Clear data” button and select Time range “All time.”
  • Restart your device
  • Close all the unwanted tabs
  • Restart your browser by closing and reopening
  • Restart your router by simply turning ON and OFF the modem or by unplugging and plugging   back
  • Try using google chrome or firefox browsers

Mac / Safari Browser

  • Close and restart the browser
  • Restart the device
  • Make sure you are connected to the internet by opening a browser and typing www.google.com  in the URL. If you do not see the google search bar, that means you are probably not connected to the internet. You can also validate if you are connected to the internet by taking the steps shown below.
    • See if you see the Wi-Fi sign in the upper menu bar
    • If not, go to Apple sign
    • Select system preferences
    • Select “Network”
    • Then Wi-Fi
    • Verify if you are connected to your Wi-Fi connection or not.
