Were Not Our Hearts Burning Within Us
What would I not give to you? Ask! Just ask! I will make up royally for your lunch. I offer the stream of My Heart’s love to all who discover My hand asking for help. Today’s Readings: Were not our hearts burning within us while He spoke on the way and opened the Scriptures to us? (Luke 24)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord as we walk the road with You may You come along beside us and open the Scriptures to us! Even when we don’t recognize You, You are always speaking to us and knocking on the door of our hearts (Revelation 3). But are we listening or are we stuck in whatever is in our heads- our grief, our fears, our anxieties and our own ideas about You? May You open our hearts to Your Word and may we always recognize You in the breaking of the bread! O Lord our hearts burn within us with the fire of Your Love!
