Unfading Crown of
Glory
For this, I have sweated blood. For this, I was crowned with thorns. I let Myself be nailed to the wood of the Cross. I endured unspeakable suffering. Then I humbly hid Myself under a common appearance so as to be more accessible to you, so that you would not fear Me. I hid Myself in the white Host like a child wrapped up in swaddling clothes. When I enter your heart, make sure that the robe of your soul is free from any stain or tear, because no father has made greater sacrifices

Prayer Meditation – Lord, today we celebrate the Feast of the Chair of Saint Peter. In so many ways we can be so like him. Ready like the Gospel to proclaim who You are but then ready to run away and deny You because we are confused, discouraged, afraid, fill in the blank. Lord, we all want that crown of Glory but what crown did You wear? A crown of thorns so that we would have courage to endure to the end! Lord, enter our hearts, reveal Your Glory and may we be worthy to receive You in the Blessed Sacrament because nothing have You held back so that we would be free! Saint Peter pray for us!
