The Resurrection and The Life- Do We Believe This?
Believe, My daughter! Let nothing lead you to abandon your goal! Your faith and confidence in Me will save you. (Jesus) (February 17, 1964 )
Today’s Readings: Jesus told her,
“I am the resurrection and the life;
whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live,
and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die.
Do you believe this?” (John 11)
Prayer Meditation- Lord, today we can feel so crushed on every side. But we hold this treasure in earthen vessels, that the surpassing power may be of God and not from us. We are afflicted in every way, but not constrained; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our body. (2 Corinthians 4:7-10). Lord we know that You know every pain and every suffering- that You weep with us and mourn with us even as we know that You are the Resurrection and The Life and that even should we die, we will live with You forever. Lord, help our unbelief, our distrust and fear- do we believe in You! Yes!!
