From this point forward, you will fight an uninterrupted struggle against the demands of the body pulling strongly towards the earth and the inner desires of your soul longing for heaven. It is by resisting them constantly and by confronting them that you will remain in possession of the Spirit of Love.” (Jesus) (October 23-24, 1963)
Today’s Readings: I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that he may grant you in accord with the riches of his glory to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner self, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the holy ones what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. (Ephesians 3)
Prayer Meditation- Lord, life on earth is a warfare, (Job 7), we are constantly pulled to Earth in our weakness even as our souls long for You! Lord, today let us pray with St. Paul that we be strengthened by Your Spirit in our inner selves. Root us and ground us in Your Love which surpasses all knowledge! Lord in today’s Gospel (Luke 12), You tell us You have come to set the Earth on Fire! Lord in these times, Come Holy Spirit! Come by the means of the Power of the Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary!
