Rejoice I Say!

Today’s Readings: Brothers and sisters:
Rejoice in the Lord always. I shall say it again: rejoice! Your kindness should be known to all. The Lord is near. Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4)
Prayer Meditation- Lord, we thank You for this special Sunday in Advent. For on this Gaudete Sunday, we start to see the rose light of dawn in the darkness as we wait and long for You! Lord, this time of year especially can bring anxiety and worry for many reasons- but Lord set us free from those chains as we pray and praise You with thanksgiving! Because You are always near, whether we can feel You near or not. Let us speak these healing words over our lives today! In the words of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Am I not here, I who am your Mother? Are you not under my shadow and protection? Am 1 not the source of your joy? Are you not in the hollow of my mantle, in the crossing of my arms? Do you need something more? Let nothing else worry you or disturb you. Beautiful Ray of Dawn our Mother, pray for us!
