For this reason, I remind you to stir into flame the gift of God that you have through the imposition of my hands. For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice but rather of power and love and self-control. (2 Timothy 1)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord You did not give us a spirit of fear but of power, love and self control. Stir the Flame of Love in us so that we will persevere in the work You have given us no matter how small it may seem in the natural- every sacrifice and prayer offered is for the love of You and the salvation of souls. Lord, my mother always told me that this life is not for sissies- give us courage to know and do Your will in the present moment even if we are doing it afraid!
