Not Burnt Offerings But a Contrite Heart
“You must shake the lukewarm souls out of the indifference which drowns them. My effort to take them to a deeper spiritual level is wasted if they turn their back on Me and abandon Me. (Jesus) (April 17, 1962)
Today’s Readings: Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer, you shall cry for help, and he will say, “Here I am”. (Isaiah 58)
Prayer Meditation: O Lord we so often go our own way and wander far from You. We do the right things but for all the wrong reasons- our hearts are in need of a shake up this Lent so that we truly will be walking together with You in love. Time to turn around and examine ourselves and offer first our contrite hearts and wait on You to lead the way out of our lukewarm comfort zones.
