Light to the Nations
“After your death, my little one, your place will be next to me. Your drops of oil gathered on earth – which by your lifetime of sacrifices, my Divine Son united with His merits – will fall back upon the extinguished lamps of the souls and will ignite them by my Flame of Love. By this light, they will find the way that leads to salvation.” (Mary) (May 30, 1965)
Today’s Readings: Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
before you
were born, I dedicated you,
a prophet to
the nations I appointed you. (Jeremiah 1)
He will be filled with the Holy Spirit even from his mother’s
womb,
and he will turn many of the children of Israel
to the Lord their God.
He will go before him in the spirit and power of
Elijah
to turn their hearts toward their children
and the disobedient to the understanding of the
righteous,
to prepare a people fit for the Lord.”
(Luke 1)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord ,we thank You today for the nativity of John the Baptist, the messenger who bore witness to the Word Made Flesh full of grace and truth! (John 1) Today You call us to be messengers to the way that leads to salvation- Lord help us to unite our sacrifices to Your merits so that souls will be ignited with Your Flame of Love even after we have left this earth!
