Jesus- The Bread of Life
Then I humbly hid Myself under a common appearance so as to be more accessible to you, so that you would not fear Me. I hid Myself in the white Host like a child wrapped up in swaddling clothes.When I enter your heart, make sure that the robe of your soul is freefrom any stain or tear, because no father has made greater sacrificesto acquire a suit for his child. Today’s Readings:
Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst.” (John 6)
Prayer Meditation- O Jesus, let us come to You today as little children ready to receive the Bread of Life and let us hunger and thirst only for You! You are the hidden God- hidden so that we would worship You without fear and that You would make us holy and righteous in Your sight all the days of our lives (Canticle of Zechariah). So let us make sure we are disposed to receive You because You have given You all that we would be free from our chains of sin and death! We love You Lord Jesus- May our hearts beat in unison!
