Jesus is Passing By
So many of them do not attempt to come close to Me in any way as
though they are afraid. (Jesus) (November 8, 1964)
Today’s Readings: When they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and coming near the boat, and they began to be afraid. But he said to them, “It is I. Do not be afraid. (John 6)
Prayer Meditation- O Lord Jesus, You are always near, passing by us in our circumstances but we let our fear, worry, anxiety, and distractions get in the way. We try to row the boat all by ourselves- we would rather row in circles sometimes then ask for help! Jesus You are the refuge in any storm- with You we always find ourselves safely at home on the shore.
