We will even make your faults and sins serve the good of your soul. These will always keep you humble. Always be concerned about humility. Only a very humble soul can fulfill our Cause. (Jesus) (August 16, 1962)
Today’s Readings: When they entered the house, Jesus asked them, “What were you discussing on the way? They fell silent because they were disputing about who was the most important. Sitting down, Jesus taught the Twelve, “If anyone wants to be first he must be the last and the servant of all.” (Mark 9)
Prayer Meditation- Lord, we hate to admit it but we all just really love ourselves way too much and we always want to put ourselves in first place. We all have these faults and sins but even these can serve the good of our souls if we but humble ourselves and realize without You we are nothing! Lord help us to take our eyes off ourselves and keep our eyes fixed on You so that we serve You and others with our whole hearts!
