Help My Unbelief

After those words, I no longer felt the anguish of doubt, but my heart was moved by a flow of extraordinary graces. “O my Jesus, how unspeakable is Your goodness and mercy.” (Elizabeth) (March 1, 1964)

Today’s Readings: The father said, “If you can do anything, please have pity on us.” Jesus said, “If you can! Everything is possible to him who believes”. With tears, the father cried out, “I do believe Lord, help my unbelief.” (Mark 9)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, how often we think we have faith and yet problems come and we realize so many times we come up empty. We are like this father, we plead and cry out, where are You God? We do not pray with the full faith that nothing is impossible for You! And yet Lord, even if our problems and crosses have gone on for years, one touch of favor can turn any situation around! Lord deliver us from the anguish of our doubts and unbelief and let us come to You with full confidence because how unspeakable is Your Goodness and Mercy!
