Firm and Trusting In The Lord

Just trust Me. Your faith and trust will give strength to a million souls to persevere. My daughter, you must never be half-hearted. Unite yourself to those souls that are consecrated to Me. I call you, also. Do not make decisions based upon the feeling of that moment. Have a firm and persevering acceptance of sacrifices. This is what produces abundant fruit in the souls.” (Jesus) (August 7, 1962)
Today’s Readings; An evil report he shall not fear;
his heart is firm, trusting in the LORD.
His heart is steadfast; he shall not fear
till he looks down upon his foes. (Psalm
12)
Prayer Meditation- Lord, how often do we believe the evil report? How often do we make decisions based on the feeling of the moment? Because, there are plenty of evil reports to go around- the news, in our families, in our workplaces- lots of doom and gloom to go around. And yet, this is not what you are asking of us. All of that fear, worry, negativity, anxiety, sin- those are all our own ideas. Lord, You have asked for a firm and trusting heart, one that is steadfast. One that is not half -hearted, one foot in the Kingdom and one foot out. One that does not believe the evil report and that does not waver like a wave blown and tossed by the wind but that believes all things are possible with You Lord! (James 1:6). Lord help us to have a firm and persevering acceptance of sacrifices as we unite ourselves to You because it is our faith and trust in union with You that will give strength to a million souls to persevere because the Kingdom is coming!
