Best of Wheat
Your bad temper will go on, but out of this evil nature, I will accomplish a masterpiece if you agree to submit to My Divine Hand. Simply surrender to Me like the wine grapes that are pressed and transformed into wine, which will become My Precious Blood. You also will be intoxicated with My Precious Blood, but only if you are transformed and purified, just like the must, or like the wheat transformed in My Sacred Body, once it has been ground. You also will transform yourself only once you have been ground down and your miserable nature divinized. (Jesus) (September 14, 1963)
Today’s Readings: He has granted peace in your borders;
with the best of wheat he fills you.
He sends forth his command to the earth;
swiftly runs his word! (Psalm 147)
Prayer Meditation- Lord, you feed us with the finest wheat- the wheat of Your Word and of Your Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. But are we disposed to receive You? Because You have told us that unless a grain of wheat (John 12:24) falls into the ground and dies it is just a grain of wheat. But You want to transform us so that we can bear fruit that will last. We cannot do that if we are holding onto our own wills- our bad tempers, our anxiety, our complaining, our negativity, our sins. Lord help us each day to die to ourselves so that it is not us who live but You who live in us (Galatians 2:20)-we will only be transformed when we have been purified of what does not belong to You!
