Dwelling In Unapproachable Light

Jesus: “Did you enjoy the hymn? I was the One who touched you by the melody. This is the hymn which we like the most. I use it to praise you because you so much love the silence of the church where I dwell.” (Jesus) (June 2, 1962)

Today’s Readings: Beloved:
I charge you before God, who gives life to all
and before Christ Jesus,
who gave testimony under Pontius Pilate
for the noble confession,
to keep the commandment without stain or reproach
until the appearance of our Lord Jesus Christ
that the blessed and only ruler
will make manifest at the proper time,
the King of kings and Lord of lords,
who alone has immortality, who dwells in
unapproachable light,
and whom no human being has seen or can see.
To him be honor and eternal power. Amen. (1
Timothy 6)

Prayer Meditation- Lord we love You and praise You and bless You because You live in unapproachable light. No one has ever seen God but Your One and Only Son, Jesus Christ has revealed You (John 1) and has showed us the way to be perfect, as You are perfect in the Gospels. Lord, You want to dwell in us and make Your love complete in us (1John 4). You care about every detail of our lives, even the hymns we like in Church and You want to share everything with us! Lord Jesus, You are light and You offer us the way to live with You forever in Your Unapproachable Light because You have made a way for us through Your Incarnation, Life, Death, and Resurrection- let us seek You always in prayer, Your Word, and the Sacraments of Your One Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church!

Set Free

“Your living faith in Me keeps your soul in a continual freshness and makes you ready to receive abundant graces. Hence, My little one, do not serve anyone but Me.” (Jesus) (August 1, 1963)

Today’s Readings: Jesus journeyed from one town and village to another, preaching and proclaiming the good news of the Kingdom of God. Accompanying him were the Twelve and some women who had been cured of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary, called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out, Joanna, the wife of Herod’s steward Chuza, Susanna, and many others who provided for them out of their resources.(Luke 8)

Prayer Meditation- Lord today we see You journeying with Your chosen Apostles and also some women who were set free. Like us Lord, these women were stuck in sin and in their brokenness but then You broke into their mess; and we are all a mess, and set them free! Lord we can never repay You for Your goodness and ,mercy, all that we can do is walk alongside You with a living faith! Lord we may have served many idols before- money, prestige, addictions, acting out of need for approval and human respect but now we have found everything in You and we will serve no one else! May our feet journey together!

Twenty Fourth Thursday of Ordinary Time

Showing Great Love

Say and constantly repeat, ‘My adored Jesus.’ I have told you before how pleasant it is to Me, and even if you say nothing else for a whole hour, repeat it with repentance for your sins. This obtains many graces, forgiveness for sins, and provides peace for souls.” (Jesus) (January 2, 1963)

Today’s Readings: So, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven; hence, she has shown great love. But the one to whom little is forgiven, loves little.” He said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” The others at table said to themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?” But he said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.” (Luke 7)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, today we read about the beautiful repentance of St. Mary Magdalene- she loved much and was forgiven much. Lord help us to break the alabaster jar of our lives and lay them at Your Feet in repentance and thanksgiving for Your Mercy that endures forever! (Psalm 118)

Taking Mary into Our Homes

Memorial of Our Lady of Sorrows

My Mother accompanied Me everywhere with her love, her sacrifices and her
prayers. You must do the same, and I will bless your efforts. (Jesus) (January
17, 1964)

Today’s Readings: When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son.” Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother.” And from that hour the disciple took her into his home. (John 19)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, You Holy Mother and ours followed You everywhere with love, sacrifices, and prayers. She is the model disciple and Our Most Loving Mother! Lord, You have given us Your Mother who stood by the Cross and who shared in the participation of Your Sacrifice on the Cross. She also shared in Your Resurrection- weeping turned into joy! Because as long as the deep dark night can seem, joy always comes in the morning! (Psalm 30:5). Lord, thank You for Your Beautiful Mother and ours- there is nothing that we will ever go through that She would not understand- there is no circumstance in life that She will not stand by us and pray fervently for us to You. Even today, Mary calls us through the various apparitions around the world- crying because She will not rest until all of Her Children are home! Lord, open our hearts to take into our homes Our Mother- let us stand with Her at the Cross and keep her company as She brings us ever closer to You! Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary pray for us- take us deep into Your Heart and unite us to the Sacred Heart of Jesus!

of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross

For God So Loved The World

Did I not shed all the drops of My Blood for all of you? My Will is to save
everyone. (Jesus) (August 13, 1965)

Today’s Readings:

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him. (John 3)

Prayer Meditation: O Lord You so loved the world that You gave Your only Begotten Son so that we can have everlasting life! You did not come to condemn us but to save us! How can we not take up our crosses and follow You- only You have the Words of Eternal Life!

Say The Word

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily

Memorial of Saint John Chrysostom

Say The Word

“But I am not worthy, Lord.” “Nevertheless, I will work a miracle. I will so bless the problem which seems impossible that all will be straightened out.” (Elizabeth/Jesus) (August 3, 1962)

Today’s Readings: “Lord, do not trouble yourself, for I am not worthy to have you enter under my roof. Therefore, I did not consider myself worthy to come to you; but say the word and let my servant be healed.(Luke 7)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, we are all unworthy, all have fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). Sometimes this can discourage us- we say Lord don’t trouble yourself with us. Yet Lord despite our unworthiness and brokenness, You do indeed want to enter our roofs- our hearts and our souls and You so want to bless us and work miracles in our lives. Lord give us the faith of the centurion- the faith that believes that just One Word, One Touch of Your Favor, can turn any situation around! Jesus, we trust in You!

Who Do You Say He Is?

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily
Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Do You Say He Is?

For you, only one thing is necessary, your uninterrupted sharing in My work of Redemption. Let this be your diversion! Do not say that I am very strict. Have I not asked you many times to renounce yourself? You must do this moment by moment. You cannot stop doing this even for a short time. I am your way and your life. Everything passes away, only your work for souls remains.” (January 18, 1964)

Readings: Jesus and his disciples set out
for the villages of Caesarea Philippi.
Along the way he asked his disciples,
“Who do people say that I am?” (Mark 8)

Prayer Meditation- Lord the answer to the question You asked the disciples is the question we must all answer and the one we have to get right! Who do I say You are? You are The Way, The Truth, and The Life! My beginning and my end! The only Name that matters and the One I want on my lips as I pass from this world! If we get this question right, the rest falls into place, even the hard stuff, the stuff that like Peter we want to run away from, our own crosses. But You have promised us that You will never leave us or forsake us! Jesus, I trust In You! Who are You- You’re everything to me!

Mercifully Treated

Today’s Consuming Fire
Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s

of the Twenty Third Week of Ordinary Time

Jesus: “A long time ago, you received from My merciful Heart the full possession of the love which forgives. I accept this profound repentance with which you prostrated yourself before Me for the sake of others, and I grant them My pardon.” (August 18, 1965)

Today’s Readings: Beloved:
This saying is trustworthy and deserves full
Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.
Of these I am the foremost.
But for that reason I was mercifully treated,
so that in me, as the foremost,
Christ Jesus might display all his patience as an
for those who would come to believe in him for
everlasting life.
To the king of ages, incorruptible, invisible, the
only God,
honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. (1 Timothy

Prayer Meditation- Lord ,we thank You and praise You and adore You because we have been mercifully treated and Your patience with us is beyond anything we can ever think of or imagine. Your merciful love is infinite no matter who we are and what we have done. You will accept from us our repentance with a merciful heart that forgives and that You extend to others as we intercede for them. Lord help us not to be just like those who hear Your Words but also act on them (Luke 6) and always remember the ABC’s of mercy- ask for mercy, be merciful, and completely trust in Your Mercy (Divine Mercy In My Soul) not only for ourselves but for the whole world!

Blind Leading The Blind

Today’s Consuming Fire
Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s

of the Twenty Third Week of Ordinary Time

Leading The Blind

Jesus: “In your soul, blindness and light will alternate just as the night alternates with the day. I will not change this. Just abandon yourself to Me. In all things, My Will shall prevail. Be attentive and wait until I give you the signal to begin.” (Jesus) (January 20, 1963)

Readings: Jesus
told his disciples a parable:
“Can a blind person guide a blind person?
Will not both fall into a pit?
No disciple is superior to the teacher;
but when fully trained,
every disciple will be like his teacher
(Jesus) (Luke 6)

Prayer Meditation- Lord it seems that most of the time we can be so blind. It seems like the illumination in our minds can be fleeting and most days we are just groping in the dark. Sometimes in our blindness ,if we are not abandoned and united to You, we can go ways that seem good to us but that lead to destruction (Proverbs 16) leading others with us into the pit. How can we take the splinter out of our brother’s eye when we got a huge log in ours (Luke 6)? But Lord we trust always that You are directing our steps (Psalm 37). We will not have full light in our souls until we are united with You in Glory, so let us take these times of darkness and hold firmly to Your Hand, not going to the right or the left, (Proverbs 4). Let us be  abandoned in Your Arms and in Your Will and attentive to Your promptings.

Do It All With Jesus

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily
Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Memorial of Saint Peter Claver

Do It All With Jesus

“O Lord, my will is Yours. Do Your
work in me.” (Elizabeth) (April 8, 1962)

Today’s Readings: Let the word of Christ dwell in you
as in all wisdom you teach and admonish one
singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs
with gratitude in your hearts to God.
And whatever you do, in word or in deed,
do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God the Father through him.
(Colossians 3)

Prayer Meditation- Lord Jesus, we love You. Lord today we are reminded that no matter what we do each day, our work and our leisure time, we are to do everything in Your Name and with gratitude. In fact, You told Elizabeth Kindelmann that we must share in Your Work of Redemption totally united to You and without interruption (March4-7 1962). You want to do everything through us united to You- that laundry we need to do, that report we need to finish, that grandchild that needs babysitting, that volunteer time at Church. All of it united to You for Your Glory and to bring mercy, salvation, and sanctification of all souls. You came to Earth and redid all of our human acts and work in Your Divine Will- You sanctified the work of our hands. Lord Jesus, breathe in our breathing, speak in our speaking, think in our thinking, work in our working- not in our wills but in Yours!

Hail Holy Queen!

of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Holy Queen!

“You must be selfless, for we will entrust you with a great mission and you will be up to the task. However, this is only possible if you remain totally selfless, abjuring yourself. That mission can be bestowed upon you only if you also want it out of your free will. (Jesus) (1962)

Today’s Readings: She will bear a son and you are to name him Jesus ,because he will save his people from their sins.” All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: Behold, the virgin shall be with child and bear a son, and they shall name him Emmanuel, which means “God is with us.” (Matthew 1)

Prayer Meditation- Lord God we thank You for Our Blessed Mother- the Woman clothed with the Sun- Blessed is She who believed that the Lord would fulfill His promises to Her (Luke 1 NLT)! Thank You for Our Beautiful Mother who gave Her Fiat so that we would be free! Lord, thank You for giving Her to us as our Mother and Model of a life totally surrendered to Your Grace! She is our Star of the Sea and She will always point the way home to You! Hail Holy Queen our life, our sweetness and our hope! Pray for us O Holy Mother of God that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ!

Tuesday of the Twenty Third Week Of Ordinary Time

He Nailed It To The Cross

this, I have sweated blood. For this, I was crowned with thorns. I let Myself
be nailed to the wood of the Cross. I endured unspeakable suffering.” (Jesus) (May

Today’s Readings: And even when you were dead in transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, he brought you to life along with him, having forgiven us all our transgressions; obliterating the bond against us, with its legal claims, which was opposed to us, he also removed it from our midst, nailing it to the cross; (Colossians 2)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, You have nailed to the Holy Cross all of our transgressions! So why Lord do we walk around still in chains? Are we afraid to go to the Sacrament of Reconciliation because of some deep hidden sin  that we feel that God will never forgive? Go and be healed, He nailed it to The Cross!  Are we afraid to let go of anxiety and fear, our need for control, our lack of trust in Divine Providence? Let it go, He nailed it to The Cross! Is there anything holding you back from complete freedom- unforgiveness, bad habits and addictions, any malady of the heart? Take it to The Cross through His Word, Prayer, and the Sacraments- He has nailed it all to The Cross!

What Are Your Intentions

6/21 Today’s
Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up
with Today’s Scriptures

Monday of the Twenty Third Week of Ordinary Time

What are Your Intentions?

“Ask often and ask for much with respect to intentions and needs and you will receive accordingly. Even more, if I perceive your trust, I will fulfill your request repeatedly. “ (Jesus) (August 6, 1963)

Today’s Readings: But he realized their intentions and said to the man with the withered hand, “Come up and stand before us.” And he rose and stood there. Then Jesus said to them, “I ask you, is it lawful to do good on the sabbath rather than to do evil, to save life rather than to destroy it?” (Luke 6)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, You always realize our intentions good or bad. Are we standing on the sidelines like the Pharisees judging everything that does not line up with how we think things should be or are we ready to always do good in every circumstance no matter what others may think. This is hard but we can only imitate You with Your Grace! Lord purify our intentions and increase our trust in You so that we may serve others with Your Heart today!

Here Comes Our God

Twenty Third Sunday in Ordinary Time

Here Comes Our God

Be not of little faith .Remember what I told you: If you need strong support, say ‘Father, I need Your strong, fatherly support.’ He will extend His strong, fatherly arm. Take courage and grab His arm, not only you, but all those souls that I entrust to you.” (Jesus) (August 8, 1962)

Today’s Readings: Thus says the LORD: Say to those whose hearts are frightened: Be strong, fear not! Here is your God, he comes with vindication; with divine recompense he comes to save you. (Isaiah 35)

Prayer Meditation- Lord it seems there is so much to be frightened about these days- it is so easy to feel off balance, diabolical disorientation Sister Lucia from Fatima called it. It seems that we have traded truth for a lie (Romans 1:25) and call good evil and evil good in our world today (Isaiah 5:20) Yet, Lord You call us and You whisper to us, be not afraid, because You come to save us- You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Lord Jesus may we keep our eyes fixed on You trusting in the only One who saves and heals! Let us take courage and grab Your Holy Arm because we need Your Father Support.

Grounded In The Gospel

Today’s Consuming Fire
Meditation- – A Daily Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s

Saturday of the Twenty Second Week of Ordinary Time

Grounded in the Gospel

“Whoever serve Me, My little one, cannot be a reed bending in the wind. She
must persevere firmly at My side with an unshakable determination. Your soul
cannot bow to anything that does not serve Me. Again, My little one, I ask that
you persevere with Me.” (Jesus) (Compendium Page 118)

Today’s Readings: Brothers and sisters:

You once were alienated and hostile in mind because of evil deeds; God has now reconciled you in the fleshly Body of Christ through his death, to present you holy, without blemish, and irreproachable before him, provided that you persevere in the faith, firmly grounded, stable, and not shifting from the hope of the Gospel that you heard, (Colossians 1)

Prayer Meditation- O Lord, we were once far from You but You have reconciled us to You through Your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ to present us holy and blameless to You provided we persevere! O Lord, we are so weak, how easily we go from firmly grounded and stable to a reed bending in the wind! We can be so double minded, unstable in all of our ways (James 1:8). Little by little we start bowing to things that are not of You! But Lord, You have promised us that You are the Vine, we the branches! (John 15:5). Lord, please help us to remain in You and persevere firmly at Your side with unshakable determination- let us never lose hope in the Gospel!

Pour Out Your New Wine Lord Into Our Souls

Today’s Consuming Fire

Memorial of Saint Gregory The Great

Pour Out Your New Wine Lord Into Our Souls

“My adorable Jesus, what are You doing with such an unworthy person?” With an
inspiration as soft as a sigh, He poured out in my heart the feeling that, at
that moment, in a direct soaring, He was drawing my soul to the infinite love
of His Divine Being. (Elizabeth) (February 13, 1963)

Today’s Readings:

Likewise, no one pours new wine into old wineskins .Otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins, and it will be spilled, and the skins will be ruined. Rather, new wine must be poured into fresh wineskins. And no one who has been drinking old wine desires new, for he says, ‘The old is good.’” (Luke 5)

Prayer Meditation: O Lord, You tell us that new wine must be poured into fresh wineskins. The wineskins of our souls become fresh by repentance and when we have humble and contrite hearts! Lord help us desire this new wine to be poured into our souls as unworthy as we are! Help us not to keep desiring the same old same old which is getting us nowhere as we keep wandering in the desert of our human wills  but to truly desire the ”new thing” (Isaiah 43:19) You want to spring forth, the wine of The Spirit. Lord make a way in the wilderness of our souls to the Living Water only You can give!

At Your Command

Today’s Consuming Fire Meditation- – A Daily
Dose of the Flame of Love Diary Served Up with Today’s Scriptures

Thursday of the Twenty Second Week of Ordinary Time

At Your Command

“It is of little importance to Me what you can do on a certain day or who much
you can accomplish, only do not take a break, because that would cause Me great
sorrow.” (Jesus) (February 20, 1964))

Today’s Readings: “Put out into deep water and lower your nets for a catch.” Simon said in reply, “Master, we have worked hard all night and have caught nothing, but at your command I will lower the nets.” (Luke 5)

Prayer Meditation- Lord some days it can feel like we have been working all day and all night and have absolutely nothing to show for it. No matter our vocation or state in life- the wear and tear of day to day living and our efforts to stay afloat and just tread water can make us feel like all we want to do is take a break and rest. But Lord, You ask us to keep going, to put out into the deep and lower our nets- to keep trying even when we want to give up! And it is amazing it is just at those times when we obey that You multiply the little we have left causing those nets to overflow with Your abundance so that like Peter we can fulfill the mission You have for us! May our humble prayer be Your Command, Fiat!

Healing Touch of Jesus

was sick. For days, I could not pray because I was so weak. The great heat of
this summer contributed to my fatigue. I could hardly walk. When I felt a
little stronger, I firmly resolved to return to prayer at night. I asked Jesus,
“My adored Jesus, give me strength.” At 3:00 a.m., the Lord awakened me by His
presence and His words. (Elizabeth) (August 1, 1962)

Readings: At sunset, all who had people sick with various diseases brought them
to him.

laid his hands on each of them and cured them. (Luke 4)

Prayer Meditation- O Lord, so many are sick today. Some are struggling with physical and chronic illness. Some are sick in mind and spirit- depression and anxiety and other maladies of the heart. We can feel so weak, sometimes it is just so hard to pray!  But Lord, You are always willing to touch and heal us- prayer can be so hard but Lord we need most of all to ask for Your Strength. Lord lay Your Hands on us through Your Word, Your Sacraments, and through the loving care of others. Lord help us to be Jesus to those among us who may be too weak or feel too defeated to reach out to You- let us be Your Hands and Feet today to those who are most in need of Your Healing Touch!

in your heart, My little sister, the reward favored with graces for having
accepted My order that I gave you through your confessor. Now, you see and feel
the power that caused the doubts to cease in your soul.” (Jesus) (July 17, 1965)

Today’s Readings: They were all amazed and said to one another, “What is there about his word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out.” (Luke 4)

Prayer Meditation- Lord with just one word, you command the unclean spirits to leave. Lord, if we let You- You will restore us piece by piece! Lord, help us to ask You today, what are we holding on to in darkness that needs to come out into the light- fear, unforgiveness, some sin we are afraid to bring to You, our need for control? Lord with Your Word today, especially in the Sacrament of Reconciliation set us free and break the chains that keep us captive today!

Console One Another

In this ceremony, pass the lighted candle from one to another. Take the candle
home and begin the family prayer in the same way. If your fervor does not fail,
I will be consoled.” (Mary) (April 15, 1962)

Today’s Readings: Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore, console one another with these words. (1 Thessalonians 4)

Prayer Meditation- Lord, we stand on Your Promises, that we will live with You forever, that You will come and get us when it is time. We know not the date or time for either Your return or our passing but we can be consoled that no matter where we are You will meet us! Lord, as we sojourn here on Earth, let us console one another- let our fervor not fail as we pass the lighted candle of Your Flame of Love to one another. Let our hands gather with You in unity for the salvation of souls!
