November Promise for the Poor Souls

Relief for the Holy Souls in the Month of November

Let us make a daily visit to our forgotten friends in the month of November.

As we offer them our prayers and sacrifices, they offer us the merits they acquired while on earth and we thus receive spiritual blessings!

Our Lady’s Promise

“In November, when I asked for an outpouring of the Flame of Love for souls in purgatory, the Lord Jesus made me sense that a soul was freed. I felt indescribable relief and also the immeasurable happiness when the soul came into God’s presence. At the same time, my soul experienced the Lord’s anguish.”

Then, Our Lady spoke:

“My little one, your compassion for the poor souls has so moved my motherly heart that I grant the grace that you sought. If at any moment, while invoking my Flame of Love, any of you pray in my honor three Hail Mary’s, a soul is released from purgatory. During November, the month of the deceased, ten souls will be released from purgatory for each Hail Mary recited. The suffering souls must also feel the effect of grace of the Flame of Love of my maternal heart.”

Ignite your prayers for the Suffering Souls in purgatory and pray the Flame of Love Rosary as a FAMILY everyday for the month of November.

Praying the Flame of Love Rosary = 53 Hail Marys x 10 souls = Saving/Releasing 530 souls from Purgatory.

Plenary Indulgences for All Souls Week and the Month of November

Every year on these eight days the Church grants a Plenary Indulgence that can be applied only to the souls in purgatory. The faithful can receive this indulgence each of the eight days to assist a soul. Maybe a parent, spouse, relative, friend will be helped by your prayers.

On each day from Nov. 1-8 a person seeking the Plenary Indulgence for a soul must (1) “devoutly visit a cemetery and pray, if only mentally, for the departed; (2) on All Souls’ Day (or according to the ordinary, on the Sunday preceding it or following it…) devoutly visit a church or an oratory and recite an Our Father and the Creed.”

Visiting a Church on November 2: A Plenary Indulgence, applicable only to the Souls in Purgatory, is granted to the faithful, who on the day dedicated to the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed [November 2 {as well as on the Sunday preceding or following, and on All Saints’ Day}] piously visit a church. In visiting the church it is required that one Our Father and the Creed be recited.

Indulgence Requirements: To acquire a Plenary Indulgence it is necessary to fulfill the following three conditions: Sacramental Confession, Eucharistic Communion, and prayer for the intention of the Holy Father while being detached from sin. It is appropriate that the Sacramental Confession and especially Holy Communion and the prayer for the Pope’s intentions take place on the same day that the indulgence work is performed; but it is sufficient that these sacred rites and prayers be carried out within several days (about 20) before or after the indulgence act. One Sacramental Confession suffices for several Plenary Indulgences, but a separate Holy Communion and a separate prayer for the Holy Father’s intentions are required for each Plenary Indulgence.
