In 2016, I attended the Flame of Love National Conference in Philadelphia. My devotion to Mary began increasing greatly as a result of reading Saint Louis de Montfort’s “True Devotion to Mary” decades before. I try, every year, to make a retreat and the Flame of Love National Conference was the first event I was able to make in that year.
As I read the short version of the diary on Friday night, Jesus and Mary’s words to Elizabeth touched me deeply; I completed the reading before the second day of the conference began. Mary’s urgent request to promote her “Cause” seemed to me to be a sequel to the message at Fatima and I wanted to do everything I could to help spread the Flame of Love in Pittsburgh.
Through a series of events too long to recount, I became the regional director of the Upper Mid-Atlantic states. In retrospect, I cannot imagine having said yes to this. I am sure you have heard the phrase “God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called.” In my case He has instead, surrounded me with people who have been blessed with great gifts for the Church! I am so happy to be enriched, directed, and aided by these blessed lovers of Our Blessed Mother and Our Lord Jesus! What can I do to help you promote Our Lady’s “Cause”? Please let me know.
